I agree.  There is some speculation that the current DA is considering the same exact policy, but was getting pushback and decided not to do it.  Regardless of whose idea it is, you are right that we need to focus more on going after crimes that are indisputably wrong, not ones that curious and archaic.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[The FOP hate this! Their lobby is powerful and will put an effort into using their influence to thwart Ms Ogg&#039;s candidacy . Something similar happened during last election. This is a shame as Ms Ogg is a Law and Order candidate---- however perhaps she like I want the HPD resources ( which are limited across the board) to go towards lowering the violent crime rates. Putting the spotlight on violent crime and criminals has to be the priority in a city the size of Houston - period.]]></description>
