Unfortunately, by the time the warning signs start to become apparent enough that someone with a substance abuse problem is showing outward signs of intoxication like this…it is pretty progressed. To be fair, this could just be this news anchor coping with a bad situation in his life and an isolated incident. But my bet, he has had a serious problem that has gone unnoticed for a while. It is often surprising how long people with such problems go about their lives dealing with alcoholism or drug addiction all while juggling demanding jobs.

Why do these people think they can hide the obvious?
